Each year Saddleworth Rangers ARLFC send our U15's on tour to France where they play games against a number of teams in the Perpignan region. Close to the Spanish border and hotbed of French rugby league, Perpignan is also the home of Superleague side Catalans Dragons.
This trip comes at an important stage in the sporting and personal development of all the boys involved, forming an immensely positive experience and memories that they will carry forward for the rest of their lives.
We fundraise each year in order to cover the travel and accommodation costs for all the boys in order that no one in the squad misses out on this unique and prestigious opportunity for financial reasons. The cost is in the region of £15,000 and so we attempt to raise the money over an entire calendar year by a broad variety of enterprises and events.
